“Take Your Child to Work Day” at the Palm Beach County Courthouse

Attorney Stephanie Myron assisted in hosting the “Take Your Child to Work Day” at the Palm Beach County Courthouse. More than five dozen children of local attorneys, judges and court staff participated along with their parents.

The event, sponsored by the Palm Beach County Bar, the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, the Hispanic Bar Association, the Cunningham Bar Association and other voluntary bar associations, was geared towards elementary school children and designed to give them a look into the inner workings of the local court system.

The activities for the event included demonstrations with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, a mock trial with judges Meenu Sasser and Lisa Small, a meet and greet with local judges and city and county elected officials, and a tour of the courthouse.

We were expecting around 70 people and have over 140! Attorney Stephanie Myron looks forward to volunteering for the event again next year.
